Here’s what you were all waiting for , a minimal obj loader using Qt’s OpenGL QGLWidget and VBOs.
Does normalize scale and center model, and doesn’t need normals as it will compute them on a per vertex basis.
Be careful of copying .obj , .mtl and .png files into your build directory.
Loads only the first texture it finds in the .mtl file.
Model is a sculpture by Olivier Bonnin, laser scanned with an Asus Xtion Pro Live and Occipital’s Skannect.
Without comments, but a simple program with well named functions and variables doesn’t need comments, does it ?
